Notable absences include el Guille Franco and Cuauhtémoc Blanco, while a surprising addition to me is Omar Bravo, granted he scored his first goal with Depor but people there are starting to consider him a bust. Another interesting choice is the inclusion of Nery Castillo who is currently homeless (in football terms) and who hasn’t played in a while and didn’t really make an important contribution in the game against Ecuador.

Whatever the list was, coach Eriksson was sure to catch fire for it since this game against Honduras is do or die for Mexico’s entry into the world cup.
