There weren’t many goals this week from the European contingent, but many were called up by their teams.

SPAIN

Pablo Barrera(Real Zaragoza)- Barrera was not called for the Monday game against Real Betis.

Hector Moreno (Espanyol) – Moreno played all 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Getafe.

Taufic Guarch(Espanyol B)- Guarch returned to the fields with a starting spot and 69 minutes during Espanyol’s 1-0 win against CD Masnou. He provided the assist for the only goal of the game in the 67th minute.

Andres Guardado (Deportivo la Coruña)- Although he had some problems during the week, Guardado played 89 minutes in Deportivo’s 2-1 win against Barcelona B.

Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona )- Dos Santos traveled with Barcelona midweek for the 3-1 win against Bayer Leverkusen, but he remained on the bench. He returned to the field for Barcelona B and was sent off in the 86th minute for two yellows during the 2-1 loss to Deportivo.

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad) – Vela was substituted in the 90th minute during the 2-1 win over Sevilla on Monday. He scored his team’s first goal in the 64th minute and provided an assist in the 68th minute. He was sent on to the field in the 66th minute, but couldn’t help his team avoid a 1-4 defeat at the hands of Granada.

Anibal Zurdo(Guadalajara)- Zurdo played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Huesca. He also received a yellow card.

ENGLAND

Giovani Dos Santos (Tottenham)- Dos Santos was not called for the FA Cup game against Stevenage.

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (Manchester United)-’Chicharito’ played all 90 minutes during the 2-1 win against Ajax in the Europa League. He scored United’s second goal in the 85th minute.

Antonio Pedroza(Crystal Palace)- Was not called for the 4-0 win against Watford.

FRANCE

Guillermo Ochoa(Ajaccio)- Ochoa played all 90 minutes in Ajaccio’s 0-0 draw against Brest.

GERMANY

Francisco ‘Maza’ Rodriguez (Stuttgart) - Rodriguez returned to the line-up and played all 90 minutes during the 4-2 loss to Hannover.

SCOTLAND

Efrain Juarez(Celtic)- Juarez was not called for the 5-0 win against Hibernian.

PORTUGAL

Edson Rivera(Braga)- Rivera was not called for the 3-0 win against Gil Vicente.

GREECE

Nery Castillo (Aris)- Castillo played 57 minutes in the 0-0 draw against PAOK; he left the field due to injury.

NETHERLANDS

Ulises Davila(Vitesse)- Davila remained on the bench during the 1-4 loss to Twente Enschede.

CROATIA

Jose Delgadillo(HNK Rijeka) - No longer shows up on the team’s official page.

Finland

Jose Manuel Rivera- Pre-seaon with ROPS.

Rumors

The Daily Mail said that Manchester United were interested in Alan Pulido. However, Goal Latino said that the site picked up the information and started the rumor based on a profile they’d written.
