asdf, you're right...Mexico can still be eliminated, but it'll require them to lose against Honduras and that Jamaica beat Canada with a goal difference of 5 or something like that. Anyways, I'm from Honduras, and I'm pretty confident that we will make it to the next round, maybe a tie will be enough for Mexico and Honduras to make it. I really doubt Jamaica will score that many goals against Canada, unless Canada brings the substitutes of the substitutes(very probable). I think in the first game against Mexico we showed that we could play the same level of football as them. We lost because Rueda played a very defensive formation, he respected Mexico way too much. If I'm not mistaken, that game was the first for many of the starting XI under Ericksson(waste of money). Rueda surely could have taken advantage of that, but he chose to play for the draw, which we almost got, but we also almost got the win, and then it all came crumbling down thanks to defensive errors, which led to the two goals. Whatever, see you in a month! I'd really love it if we eliminate Mexico, but if anything, it will be the other way around...

Wait, maybe I'm wrong about the qualifying set up. Either way Mexico needs to improve.

You know Mexico can still be eliminated if they lose to Honduras and Jamaica wins.

Mexico needs to get at least a tie to be 100% sure of qualifying for the next round or they could lose a spot to Jamaica on goal difference.

Either Mexico needs to tie or win, or if they lose they have to hope that Canada can tie Jamaica or not lose by that many goals.

well it is true we play better against canada but that was because canada used substitute player because they were eliminated already. if mexico was the team that it supossed to be they should it won playing bad or good...however mexicans soccer players do not care anymore , and they just give a damn playing together especially rafa marquez, as a captain he mades a lot of mistakes and does not play as good as he plays in Barcelona, the only one that feels mexico in his heart is Andres Guardado. mexico is no CONCACAF giant anymore, however i dare to say that the United state is the new giant of the zone..look at their games, with their best players in a bad game home they beat cuba 6-1 something that nexico could not do before in near times..and them the usa NT beat guatemala aand TT easy , with minumum effort and with out playing serious. (they lose to TT the seocnd game because they had subs.) i'm afraid when they play agaiinst mexico and play serious with all starters , i could predict a 2-0 loss against the USA easy.. mexico the way is playing is hoping for a 4th place in the last step of the qualifiers being behind USA, Costarica, El Salvador,

In my opinion, the Honduras match is one of those "more than just pride" matches. We can perform well under this pressure and will probably win. No disrespect to Honduras, great nation and good NT, but I really REALLY want them to go down when we play them next.

Oswaldo is not the goalie Mexico needs a the moment. He lacks mobility and has made some tremendous judgment errors in his positioning. He has cost Mexico a loss and an unnecessary tie.
