I don’t seriously think anyone believes Mexico has a chance in their current form against usa. With such talent at our disposal it seems like…well… it just sucks right now.

Nery has been practicing with Shakhtar since the beginning of January. In 5 preseason friendly games played, he scored 1 goal and played an average of about 50 minutes. He was even added to the first team squad to play in the UEFA Cup with Shakhtar. I watched all his practices with the team and the games he played in. He seemed to play with more aggresiveness each game and he’s looking in much better shape than he did against Ecuador and Honduras. I think he will do great against the USA and he brings a dimension to this team that’s been lacking for a while. He’s a completely different type of player that Mexico will definitely need.
