Lot of dead weight on this roster. Conejo can be thrown out without a second guess. I mean if Aguirre is going to put in some veterans why didn’t he call up Oswaldo, Zinha, and Blanco. If it wasn’t for Blanco, Mexico probably would have lost both Qualifiers.
Im a big Mexico supporter but if they wish to take the crown at Gold Cup they should have called up better Vets. USA prob will be a unpredictable team when it comes down for them to having a 100% team. They are playing 2 tournaments. this summer. That means they will probably outfit their best team on either the Confederations or the gold cup. Seeing as the US team are all gloryhunters they will outfit their best team in the Gold cup since they don’t have a chance in the “group of Death”. Lets see what Happens.

I heard most of the players we see missing asked Aguirre for a vacation which if true lets you know how much these players care about improving. The Gold Cup could have been a perfect venue for Aguirre to try and do something with this joke of a team. I sometimes wonder if he even cares anymore…

^ I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true. Aguirre is way too nice with his players. He would invite the Aguero’s for dinner and stuff when he was at Atletico.
