New Team in Primera Division
The new team in the Mexican first division will be Indios from Ciudad Juarez after beating Leon in the ascension game 3-2.
Indios and Leon were the champions from the apertura and clausura tournaments, respectively, and faced off for the right to move up to the first division.
Hopefully Indios will be able to stay in the first division longer than the past teams who made the move up. Leon has made it to the finals of the ascension game twice times before, and has lost to Irapuato and Dorados.
Again congratulations to everyone from Ciudad de Juarez as they get to see their team in the first division. Here are some facts about the newest team in the first division:
