Mexicans In Europe 8/29-30/09
After a long week, the leagues will wind down to get ready for an international break.
In Spain, both Barca players traveled with the winning the European Super Cup.
England was quiet as the U-17 winners did not feature with their clubs.
And in the Netherlands someone scored a goal.
Across the rest of Europe there were country switches and benches.
Spain
- Marquez is recovering from injury, but has been able to train with the first team.
Jonathan Dos Santos(Barcelona)- Dos Santos was on the bench for Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Sporting Gijon.
Guillermo Franco(?)-His contract is up with Villarreal, and it seems like he does not want to join a team in Mexico. His plans are to continue in Europe, so we’ll leave him here until he finally resolves his case. But, Estudiantes de la Plata of Argentina are looking for his services.
Andres Guardado(Deportivo La Coruna)- Depor lost in the opening game of La Liga to Real Madrid in a 3-2 game where Guardado played all 90 minutes and had an assist.

Greece
Antonio De Nigris(AE Larisa)-De Nigris switched countries and now plays in Greece with AE Larisa, where the player signed for two seasons. He was able to debut with his new team in the 77th minute, but it wasn’t enough to help the team come back from a 2-0 defeat to Olympiakos.
Ukraine
