The leagues are winind down.Spain
Rafael Marquez(Barcelona)- Barca drew 2-2 against Valencia but stayed in 1st place with just 4 points in front of Real Madrid. Marquez didn’t see any action during the game. The team will next play against Chelsea on Tuesday during the Champions League.
Guillermo Franco(Villarreal)-Franco didn’t play in the 2-1 win over Getafe.
Andres Guardado(Deportivo)-Guardado played all 90 mins and provided the assist for Depor’s equalizer during their 1-1 draw against Malaga.
Hugo Sanchez(Almeria)-Almeria won 2-1 against Numancia.
England
Carlos Vela(Arsenal)- Carlos Vela did not play in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory against Middlesbrough. The Gunners will face Manchester United midweek in the Champions League.
Giovanni Dos Santos(Ipswich)- Gio played all 90 mins in Ipswich’s 3-0 win against Cardiff.
Germany
Ricardo Osorio(Stuttgart)- Osorio has been ruled out for the rest of the season after finally going through surgery for an injury picked up while on national team duty. A surgery had been planned for after the season was over, but plans changed. Stuttgart won 2-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Netherlands
Carlos Salcido(PSV)- Carlos Salcido played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 win over Heracles.
strong>Maza Rodriguez(PSV)- Maza played all 90 mins in his first game since January alongside Salcido in the 2-0 win.
Hector Moreno(AZ Alkaamar)- AZ Alkaamar drew 1-1 against Ajax as they came on to the field as Dutch champions. Moreno did not make the bench as he his still not %100 percent ready to play after the injury to his right foot.
Turkey
Antonio De Nigris(Ankaragucu)- De Nigris played 45 mins in his team’s win over Fenerbahce.
Ukraine
Nery Castillo(Shakhtar)- Did not make the bench in Shakhtar’s 1-0 win over Chornomorets.
