Mini Tri Beats Brazil
As only a few years before, Mexico’s U-17 team beat Brazil in the U-17 World Cup. This time it happened in the group stages.
Nevertheless it was still a great feat. The final score? 1-0.
Miguel Basulto scored in the 70th minute from a corner. The Brazilian keeper had trouble controlling the ball, and all Basulto had left was to try and push it in.
Mexico lost the first game against Switzerland. The win puts them in third place of Group b. First is Switzerland, and Mexico is tied with Brazil, but third because of goal difference. The next game is against bottom-of-the-group Japan.
