Rafael Marquez(Barcelona)-Midweek in the Champions League, Marquez provided the assist against Lyon for the 1-1 draw. On Sunday he played all 90 mins as well as Barca were given a shock defeat against Atleti.

Guillermo Franco(Villarreal)-Franco was not called up this week for the game against Real Betis which ended 2-2.

Andres Guardado(Deportivo)-Guardado is still out injured.

Hugo Sanchez(Almeria)-Hugo continues performing as Almeria won 2-1 and now sits in 10th place.

England

Carlos Vela(Arsenal)-Vela got his first start in the Prem. He made a good effort and had a couple of good shots. He was replaced at 63 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Fulham.

Giovanni Dos Santos(Tottenham)-Gio scored a wondergol for the Spurs midweek against Shaktar but it wasn’t enough to get them through to the next round. He wasn’t called up for the Carling Cup final which Spurs lost against Manchester United.

Ricardo Osorio(Stuttgart)-Osorio played all 90 minutes in the 2-0 win over Karlsruhe.

Netherlands

Carlos Salcido(PSV)-Salcido played all 90 mins in PSV’s loss to Heerenveen at 2-3.

Hector Moreno(AZ Alkaamar)-Still out injured, but AZ Alkaamar remain in first place with 63 points.
