The “A” Game
I’m waiting for the excuses to start rolling in. The altitude. The heat. The fouls. The midnight serenades. The Mexican food. The referee. Bob Bradley. “We didn’t really need to win that game.”
Yeah, well those arefactors but the US team wasn’t the only one that had to deal with those. How many players play in [...]
Everyone Supports El Tri
Commercials. You love them, or hate them. Most of the time you might just fast forward through them.
However, there are those that sometimes touch your heart, make you laugh, put a smile on your face, or sometimes make you shake your head in disgust. Here are some commercials for your enjoyment about the national [...]

Gold Cup Champions 2009
With 5 goals, Mexico won against the USA in the Gold Cup final to become the 2009 Champions. Five was the reoccurring number as this is also Mexico’s 5th Gold Cup.
Mexico to Gold Cup 2009 Finals
After an agonizing time, Mexico will meet the US for the Gold Cup 2009 Finals in New York on Sunday after beating Costa Rica 1-1(Mexico through on penalties).
Kicking and Kicking
As opposed to previous games involving Mexico, this one was finally interesting. In the 2nd game of the Gold Cup, Mexico met up with Panama in Houston, Texas to play a 1-1 draw. As they say, “Everything’s bigger in Texas.” The saying held true as the game exploded with red cards.
Dissapointed With A Win
This game was disappointing, no? There were two goals, but the team didn’t play very well. As always there were plenty of chances but no one there to score. This isn’t looking too good.
ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZzz
What a boring game. If you fell asleep, good for you. If you were unfortunate like me and watched the whole thing…that’s a good part of the day that could have been more productive. Watching the grass grow was about as exciting as this 0-0 snoozefest between Mexico and the Guatemala.
More Red Wine Please
Although it’s only a friendly, Mexico played well tonight against the “vino tinito”. The young players got a run out and were able to score. Vela and Giovani, two of the most touted young Mexican talents in the world, finally were able to perform with the big boys and helped in the 4-0 win over [...]
