I don’t think Bofo would have been a good selection for the squad. I only see flashes of brilliance with him….too much inconsistency. I’m disappointed that Mex didn’t go further, but very proud of the last game against Arg. They played with a lot of heart! Can’t wait til next WC. Bring on the U-17 players!!!

let’s be honest. The only mexican soccer players that have the talent to be in Europe are: Salcido, Memo Ochoa, Lucho Perez, Marquez, Borgetti, Gringo Castro, Pardo and Bofo Bautista. Besides these players, no one else has the the talent and effort to be in Europe……Mexico had no forwards this world cup… #$%^ Lavolpe should have taken Blanco and Bofo

what??? que??? was????? che???? Bravo skills???? Bravo has ability to free himself of players of 5′5 height like the rest of EL TRI, but he will not be able to free himself against Marquez, Puyol, Bravo (madrid), Thuram, Ferreira. Im proud to be mexican, but this guy has no skills for Europe.. This is the world cup guys, not the mexicans league. He shouldnt have missed that PK or the the other 10 chances he had to score. He screwed himself up.

although i dissagree with you about the comparison to messi(messi is coming into being one of those elite in the world.). i agree he may have blew it with the pk..but its been his problem his hole career..he has no shot .im a chivas fan and ive seen 90% of his games.he has an incredible ability to free himself of markers but he doesnt have the finishing touch

nah, omar blew it man..im so mad…he doesn’t have the size to compete with euro teams…if he had the skill of messi, and could sink in those goals he was supposed to make..then i’ll be like ‘its cool man..no biggy..everyone misses” BUT, hes a small guy that can do danger in the mexican league…yeah sure can do some damage against some okay teams, but isn’t at the five start level…i give him a two stars out of 5….he deserves more, but he has to work for it..im so mad…freakin PK.

Guys, Omar Bravo has been playing great, true he totally let us down by missing that PK, but that only means if he ends up with a European team, then he will be at the bottom of the list for taking PKs.
