Schedule Update– Mexico to play Venezuela
Mexico will not play any friendlies in April, despite what the FIFA calendar says. Their next friendly will be May 5 at the Rose Bowl vs. Venezuela. Then they play in Mexico City on May 12. The latest in a long line of suggested opponents now includes Nigeria and Togo.
As of now, here is the schedule for the Tri
April 2 — 10:00 PM CT the team is named.
April 3-11–FIFA-sanctioned vacation
April 12-15 — Physicals and other testing
April 16-22 — Mini camp, Acapulco
May 5 — US send off. Rose Bowl vs. China (?)
May 12 — Mexico Send off vs. Nigeria or Togo
May 20 — Travel to Europe
May 27 — France vs. Mexico, St. Dénis
June 1 — Netherlands vs. Mexico, Eindhoven
June 2 — Arrive in Göttingen, German Base Camp
June 11 — Mexico vs. Iran, Nuremberg
