Nery Castillo on his way to Manchester City
According to a various Mexican reports from ESTO, OVACIONES AND REFORMA, Nery Castillo is reportedly a done deal as far as being loaned out to Premier League side Manchester City. Castillo’s agent, Juan Carlos Padilla, called it almost a done deal and said 90 percent of the deal is finished which would loan Nery out for a year according to ESTO.
With Nery Castillo not getting first choice playing time at Shatkar and never really having seemed to have settled in Ukraine, it seems ironic that Nery’s first choice team to sign with after leaving Olimpicacos was this same Manchester City team that could not meet his financial demands before. It’s now looking like City regrets not having signed Castillo before and is making up for lost time.

You forgot to mention that Hector Moreno has been transferred to AZ Alkmaar(NED)! More good news, and hopefully the Mexican league makes more of an effort to export its players.
