Ok, so we lost to the USA in our first Hugo Sanchez game. He didn’t have a lot of time with the team, we had the no goal on USA against the US curse, and we had Bravo playing his worst game ever and the ref playing at his best with the asist. LOL ok, had to get that out of my chest. Anyway:

Mexico is doing ok to good (7/10) in the past games to my opinion anyway, and this test will be a tough one. Ecuador is right now the number 3 team in Southamerica, being able to advance to the worldcup finals the past 2 venues and doing so in 3rd place last time. Advancing to the second round and falling to the english by 1-0 in a tough match.

As most of the southamerican teams, they know mexico really well, and most of the players know each other, since 4 of them play or have played in Mexico.

I am finally believing Hugo’s vision, and I think he is for real. But let not be overconfident because COPA AMERICA is coming, and there you’ll see what’s the real deal there on the group of death.

Does anyone in here knows if Andres Guradado and Guillermo Ochoa are signing with a European league? The last time I heard that Manchester United, and Sevilla was interested in Guradado and a Spanish and German team wanted Guille Ochoa. I need some feedback on this guys.

Hi Roberto, yes indeed Copa America is just around the corner, but first we “need” to win the golden cup, I hope we play the finals against USA that would be great. And then Copa America. About guardado and OChoa: Vergara (Chivas) president, said that europe, specifically England and Spain, where interested in 4 players (Bravo, Bofo, Guardado and Medina) and in the Ecuador game, they where scouts for Ochoa too. As soon as I hear something official I’ll tellyou.

Futbol Clausura 2007. El futuro de Guardado seria Holanda. Pretende el equipo de Salcido a la joven promesa del Atlas

GUADALAJARA.- El Manchester United y el Sevilla fueron solo rumores, el Atletico de Madrid una posibilidad, pero para Andres Guardado el PSV Eindhoven esta cerca de convertirse en una realidad.

La directiva del equipo holand�s, actual l�der del torneo de su pa�s, en el cual milita el tambi�n mexicano Carlos Salcido, ya solicit� informes del jugador del Atlas para una posible compra durante el mercado de verano.

“S�, hay inter�s, hace una semana la gente de Holanda y una de las personas de visoria que vieron a Salcido, pidieron informes sobre Guardado, quieren saber c�mo est� su situaci�n contractual, sus cl�usulas, sus caracter�sticas personales, pero sobre todo la posibilidad de que se pueda negociar”, confirm� una fuente cercana a la agencia Proactive.

Dicha agencia de representaci�n con sede en Washington D. C., es la misma que sirvi� de enlace, hace ocho meses, entre el PSV y la directiva del Guadalajara, cuando se dio la venta de Carlos Salcido al conjunto el�ctrico.

“Guardado es una de las cuatro opciones que tiene PSV para cubrir el puesto de volante por izquierda, tambi�n tienen en agenda a un brasile�o, a un espa�ol y a un belga”, agreg� la fuente.

Kl�ber Santana, lateral izquierdo del Santos de Brasil es el otro candidato, cuyo pase est� tasado en 10 millones de d�lares, cinco m�s que la cl�usula de rescisi�n del atlista.

“La ventaja para Guardado es que no hay l�mites para extracomunitarios en Holanda, lo conocen desde que termin� el Mundial, pero en ese momento su prioridad era Salcido con quien est�n muy contentos, por eso creen que Andr�s puede adaptarse tambi�n”, coment� el informante.

Proactive ya inici� contacto con la directiva del Atlas, y ser� en las pr�ximas horas cuando la empresa encabezada por Rob Westerhof env�e una oferta formal a las oficinas de los Zorros para obtener al zurdo de cara al torneo 2007-2008.

El jugador es representado por la compa��a U-1st Sports, que en M�xico es coordinada por Mario Ordiales, quien hace unos d�as asegur� que por ahora no exist�a un acercamiento formal de ning�n club.

Una vez establecido el contacto entre los interesados y el Atlas, tendr� que entrar en escena la empresa que representa al futbolista.
