Mexico 1 Panama 0 (Game Suspended)
An own gol that deflected off the face of Panama´s Baloy was enough to give Mexico a hard fought victory on Sunday. That and a lot of slips, falls and ugly tackling is all I remember from the game. How disappointing! I was left wanting more. Wanting to see how Giovani and Nery Castillo could complement each other and waiting to see an attacking sprint from Salcido or a zig-zag attack run from Guardado into the box! For this we have Mother Nature to thank, although in all fairness the field was more mud than turf by the end of the first half when the game was suspended.
Next up is Brasil this Wednesday in a rematch of the opening game of the Copa America. Who do you think will step up have a Nery Castillo-like performance for Mexico in this game? By the way I loved Nery´s new look, wow he rocked that Tiger Mask! Below is the squad list.

Mexico looks really strong on paper! Hopefully the manager partners up Castillo and Dos Santos, I think that would be the best attacking combination. The only player missing from the squad list is Ricardo Osorio, he would really have complemented the defense.
