Europe MapAfter a midweek game all the players went to back to their clubs. Only a few had luck on their side but it seems like the extra game took a toll on them. Check out this weeks results for all the Mexicans in Europe.

Spain

Rafael Marquez(Barcelona)- Once again Marquez did not play but it is because of injury. Barca lost against Real Betis after being up 2-0 very early in the game and have now been leapfrogged by Villarreal.

Giovanni Dos Santos(Barcelona-Gio played today as he came on in the 62nd minute, but failed to make a impact, replacing goal scoring Bojan. He’s finally back from injury and hopes his performances with Barca put the rumors of a move to Man City to rest.

Guillermo Franco(Villarreal)-Franco is out for at least 3 weeks after injuring his right leg(muscle tear) while on international duty. Villarreal meanwhile are 1 point ahead of Barcelona and 6 behind Real Madrid.

Carlos Vela(Osasuna)Finally back from injury Vela played for 76 minutes in the 2-0 win over Getafe. This gives Osasuna a 4 point cushion from the relegation zone. This was not a very good game for Vela and he was booked in the 64th minute meaning that he can’t play in next week’s game against Recreativo Huelva for the accumulation of 5 yellow cards.

Andres Guardado(Deportivo La Coruna) Guardado didn’t start the game but came on during the 52nd minute only to come back off during the 62nd because of injury. Deportivo won the match 3-1 and are now 4 points clear of the relegation area.

Germany

Aaron Galindo(Eintracht Frankfurt)- Galindo played all 90 mins in his team’s victory over Bayer Leverkusen. Eintracht is now on level points with Stuttgart.

Pavel Pardo(Stuttgart)- Pardo played all 90 mins and created many chances for his team. However, Stuttgart drew 0-0 with Hannover and failed to take advantage of the top teams’ losses or draws.

Ricardo Osorio(Stuttgart)- Osorio did not play in Stuttgart’s game against Hannover.

England

Nery Castillo(Manchester City)- Nery did not play in Man City’s defeat to Birmingham. The game ended with a 3-1 scoreline and City concreteting a spot mid table.

Holland

Carlos Salcido(PSV) PSV remain leaders of the Eredivisie 5 points clear of 2nd place Ajax. The game against NEC Nijmegen ended in a 0-0 draw with Salcido playing all 90 mins.

Hector Moreno(AZ Alkmaar) AZ Alkmaar won the game against Vitesse 2-1 with Moreno scoring the first goal during the 21st minute. His team is in the 12th spot and in contention for an Intertoto Cup spot.

Turkey

Antonio De Nigiris(Ankaraspor) Ankaraspor won against Trabzonspor 1-0 and are 13th out of 18 in the Turkish League.

Managers

Javier Aguirre(Spain(Atletico Madrid)) Atletico lost to Villarreal but still remain in 4th place with 50 points. They are level with Racing Santander but are ahead on goal differential.
