I totally agree with Luis Carlos, just remember how we scored the second goal against Iran: Kikin put pressure on the goalkeeper, who had to hurry and shoot anywhere; the ball went to where Bravo was… he headed it to an Iranian deffender, who lost it to Sinha.
If players aren´t in a top day, if things aren’t going ok, then fighting every ball the way Kikin does, and passing that to other players may make the difference

It’s no luck. Kikin might be what Carlos says, but I would add that he is a fighter, he is a player who will not give up in any play and will always play his best.

I also think he can pass that to the other players wich would be great.

I would like to see Kikin with Franco and Bravo in this game, against a Portugal without yellow card players.

Carlos, I know what you’re saying, but I guess Kikin is all about luck. He’s been there in a lot of good moments, ask any Pumas fan (It was their “Talisman”, literally!). Then again, he hasn’t showed a lot in the last games, but you can never tell when he is gonna be the decisive player. I’m guessing he’s starting at the bench against Portugal, but don’t get surprised if he enters the game for the second half and give us an edge!!

I honestly don’t see what “the fans” see in Kikin, seriously. He doesn’t dribble, he doesn’t have a good header, he doesn’t have a particularly powerful/accurate shot, he is not fast, he is not a playmaker. Yes, he runs a lot and he gives 110%. In that way he reminds me of Palencia, he was very dedicated but totally lacked talent. I’d rather see Bravo, Borgetti or Franco than Kikin in the starting 11.

Sometimes being “a really nice/cool guy” isn’t enough. Maybe it’s a Mexico City thing to like this guy.

And in the Ghana match, I have no idea why Lavolve took out Franco while Bravo was having a far worse game.
