It’s Fonseca’s turn

June 15th, 2006 | By: John | 3 Comments »

With Borgetti sidelined, Kikin Fonseca has the biggest opportunity of his life lying in front of him. I think I can safely say that this guy honors his shirt more than just about anyone who has worn it. He has both a roman appetite, and the spartan will to pay for it. He deserves this. He can pick up his reward tomorrow, and wednesday, and next weekend. It’s all yours, Kikin — go for it!!

Kikin Fonseca exemplifies the passion, character, skills and great personality of the young generation of Mexican players, I feel completely confident that he will come to the challenge full force and giving nothing less of his true 150% in the field!

He did a fantastic job in the qualifying rounds as a true #9 where he belongs, if La Volpe gives him the chance he will perform!
