Friendlies Update

Mexico is close to sealing the deal to play China at the rose bowl on May 5 for their American Despedida. They are having a ton of problems finding an opponent for their May 12 send off at the Azteca. First it was Scotland, then Belgium. Egypt and Chile were possible rivals, but nothing has been confirmed, no contracts have been signed. It is a tough time of year to schedule friedlies with leagues winiding down, and the Chapions final a week later. The FMF is still looking to book a team from Africa or South America for that lat game before the team leaves for Germany. My guess: Columbia or Chile because so many columbians and chileans play in Mexico, they can field a team just from them alone.
While in Europe, they will play France on May 27, and Holland on July 1. They also have some scrimmages lined up with local sides from Gottingen, their home base for the tournament. The FIFA calendar has Mexico playing El Salvador and Columbia, but these have not been confirmed. It also lists a match vs. Saudi Arabia in Germany.

Well basically Mexico is testing their players, They shouldnt play so hard since they are going to play again on saturday. All in all losing to one aint that bad, well in a friendly. When the world Cup comes they have to put their battery’s on. Overall the Mexican team played well than what i had expected.
