El Brody on his way to France
Assistant coach Jorge Campos is on his way to France after dealing with some personal issues back in his home town of Acapulco, Guerrero. Hopefully this will put an end to the wild specualtion initiated by the press that he and Ricardo Lavolpe had a knock-down drag-out fight. I find it incredulous that it’s the “responsible press” that creates these rumors and innuendo. Shouldn’t rumor-milling and half-truths be left up to us bloggers? It’s no wonder Lavolpe and the Mexican press have a tepid relationship at best.
I don’t get the Mexican press. They gush about the team, and think of them as candidates to make a deep run, and then do their best to try to dsirupt team morale when they print these babosadas. They pounded Lavolpe about when he would cap Guille Franco, and then when it happens, they chastize him for including another naturalizado. Whose side are you on??
