Borgetti wants to have fun

June 5th, 2006 | By: John | 8 Comments »

Jared Borgetti knows this is his last world cup. He knows he will get ample playing time. If there is any pressure, he doesn’t feel it. He just wants to have fun.

Borgetti did not have fun playing at Bolton this year. Lack of playing time, miserable weather, no decent tacos in Lancashire all contributed to his sorrow. If he can find his happy place, and may I suggest his time at Santos, he may be up for harvesting a bushel of goals in Germany. Let’s hope he jumps on the combine early.

Do you realize that their has been no Mexican hat-trick ever in the world cup?

Not unitl this year..
Omar bravo is his name.. I feel he will be our star!!!

Franco is good, I think he will shine during the iran game.

guardado will start thes second game againts angola, He will do amazing.

Then lavolpe will have a new line up because of the success of new players..

the same defense
but in offense,…

Mid guardado, omar bravo, kikin, morales..
forward.
borguetti

can’t wait…

It’s kind of hard to think in a player that would be able to do a hat trick, since we don’t play to ofensivly.

Hope we have a solid single atacker. Borgetti, Franco, Kikin or Bravo I hope one of them shines in this world cup.

So long as the defense doesn’t have any brain farts that end will be fine. The offense is more dicey. I think Borgetti and Kikin should start and bring in Bravo if they struggle. No Franco, all I’ve seen him do is take dives.

Why can’t Guille get any love? I’m telling you I think he’ll have a breakthrough tournament. The reason he’s “always on te floor” is because he isn’t afraid to go after the ball and he is a hustler. He’s also unselfish and doesn’t mind passing the ball to his teamates I think he’ll be alright.

I really hope you’re right. I know he must be good to be playing in Spain but I was really unimpressed the few times I’ve seen him play for Mexico

I love how Guille plays and I could be his personal lawyer atending nationality issues since I am always on his side, the thing is, he hasn’t played well the last couple of games.

Hope he does good!!

I hope Borgetti has a great WC. Maybe he’ll get a real chance to play with Bolton, if not maybe a Spanish team will pick him up. I would also like to see other Mexican players offered contracts in Europe.
